Many people place the original Resident Evil 2 as their favourite game of all time. So with Capcom taking the time to not just re-release the acclaimed game, but remake it from the ground up, will it be any good?
Thanks to Capcom and Turn Left Distribution, Ryan and Dylan have been able to spend the better part of the last week with this (spoilers) exceptional title.
Having no connection to the original, Ryan was simply blown away. The RE2 Remake looks stunning, sounds beautiful, and plays brilliantly.
Dylan, although frustrated here and there with his own difficulties with in game, also cant help but sings it’s praises.
Resident Evil 2 Remake is out on the 25/1/19 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Resident Evil 2 is an upcoming survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. It is a remake of the 1998 game Resident Evil 2. Players control rookie police officer Leon S. Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield as they attempt to escape from Raccoon City during a zombie apocalypse. Unlike the original, which uses tank controls and fixed camera angles, the remake features “over-the-shoulder” third-person shooter gameplay similar to Resident Evil 4.
